- Taoyuan County English registration booklet application service is available starting August 1st, 2003.
- Simplified citizenship id card process. Citizenship id card can be received when you arrive and initial receiving document is processed in junior school at each neighborhood. When applying for a lost citizenship id card, no registration or guarantor is required and the id card can be processed within 30 minutes by providing an id such as passport (If no id is presented, we will send in the card for identification at the police station).

- Apply and pick up current household registration booklet - You can now apply and pick up your computerized current household registration booklet or cancellation of registration booklet in any household registration office. You do not need to apply at your original registration office.
- Registration of relocation - You have moved? Just apply for the move-in registration at household registration office, no need for move-out registration at your previous location.
- Computerized household registration - Household registration network is available throughout the country and household registration data can be accessed through network for convenience, and accuracy.
- Computerized number dispenser - Computerized processing number dispenser is available at our office, pick up a number when you come in for services and avoid the long line up.
- One location with all services - Various identification registration, relocation, citizenship id card, imprint registration, cancellation and proof, household number certification, household certification booklet, and household registration booklet services are now processed at one service window.
- Call the household registration office for a pick up time and apply for registration at a later time.
